About This Walk
This car-free valley represents Switzerland at its most pristine. Protected since 1954 from development, the walk through Val Fex passes through flower-strewn meadows, tiny hamlets, and larch forests toward glacier-clad peaks at the valley head. Horse-drawn carriages are the only traffic.
